Košarac currently serves as the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Previously Košarac was the former head of the team for the coordination of war crimes research activities and the search for missing persons in the Republic of Srpska. He was awarded the Charter for exceptional contribution to the improvement of the process of searching for missing Serbs by the Republican Organization of Families of Missing, Captured and Killed Civilians and Soldiers of the Srpska.
