Turković was a pioneer of the wind energy industry development in Serbia, as a co-owner and director of the first large-scale wind project in Serbia. She brings over twenty years experience in the renewable energy sector. Turković has served as an assistant minister for the power sector in the Government of Serbia’s Ministry of Energy, where she was responsible for overseeing the restructuring and unbundling of the Power Utility of Serbia and managed a project establishing the Energy Regulatory Authority. Through the Serbian Wind Energy Association, she also helped draft RES laws and by-laws with regards to PPA bankability terms and FIT scheme. Turković is empowering young people in Serbia through her Board presence in Pexim Foundation and WISE SEE network (Women in Sustainable Energy).
